Dr. Justin Stewart was the first qualified Biofunctional Prosthetic System (BPS) dentist in the UK. This is an advanced denture construction technique that places denture teeth where natural teeth originally would have been.

Dr. Stewart has often been the first UK dentist to attend a variety of lectures and courses on the latest and best ideas on denture construction, including several courses in the US and Switzerland. 

Dr. Stewart is also the first UK dentist to have been trained in the US by Dr. Joe Massad who is arguably the world's top expert in denture related treatment. Dr. Stewart has more recently been appointed to Dr. Massad's international board of advisory.

In 2008, Dr Stewart was asked to help in developing material and to teach the first course in the UK to help to train Dental Care Professionals (DCPs) in impression taking. This course is for the dental Nurse Education & Training Centre at Guy's, King's & St Thomas' Hospitals.

Dr. Stewart has lectured widely both to dentists and to the wider dental community, often around the theme of "Difficult Denture Cases Made Easy."  Dr Stewart is also working on a book around the topic of educating patients about denture treatments.

Dr. Stewart's dentistry is limited to denture problems, and includes implant solutions where needed. Generally, his view is to make the best dentures possible, and only resort to implants where absolutely necessary.
