Are you unable to eat what you want? Do your dentures shift, tilt and wander? Are you fed up of messy denture adhesives and sore gums? Do you have trouble speaking clearly or a fear of smiling? …..We've got the solution.
Even if you have been told in the past that you are not suitable for conventional implants, we can help. As Mini-Implants are much smaller than traditional ones, they can normally be placed even when traditional ones could not be. This applies, for example, in cases where there is little bone left.
You can visit your dentist in the morning, have the "Mini-Implant System" placed in less than two hours and then eat comfortably, have a pleasant conversation, laugh and talk with confidence. Your denture feels secure and is being held firmly in place.
….. and all of this at an extremely affordable price. Sounds too good to be true, ….. read on. |
| Mini Dental Implant Technology |
| You may have heard of implants. They have been one of the most significant advances in dentistry in the past 25 years. Tens of thousands of grateful patients have benefited from the opportunity to obtain a replacement for lost teeth that restores their smile and confidence.
You may think dental implants are too expensive and the healing process too long. But cutting edge technology has now made them fast and affordable. Mini dental implants take about an hour and a half to place. Unlike conventional implants, they also work for diabetics who are slow to heal and people with small jawbones.
This smaller version of the dental implant has been a huge success. The patient satisfaction rate of those who have tried the system is extremely high. Mini implants (1.8mm diameter) enable the dentist to broaden the spectrum of patients that can be treated. The "Sendax MDI System" provides permanent denture stability for patients, without painful surgery and with considerable cost savings to the patient in under two hours. |
| What are Mini Implants? |
| The MDI System consists of a miniature titanium implant that acts like the root of your tooth and a retaining fixture that is incorporated into the base of your denture. The head of the implant is shaped like a ball, and the retaining fixture acts like a socket that contains a rubber O-ring (like a grommet). The O-ring snaps over the ball when the denture is seated and holds the denture at a predetermined level of force. When seated, the denture gently rests on the gum tissue. The implant fixtures allow for micro-mobility while withstanding natural lifting forces. |

| How are Mini Implants placed? |
| Placement of the implants is accomplished quickly and easily in a process performed at the dental surgery, with local anaesthesia. Using a precise controlled, minimally invasive surgical technique, MDI implants are placed into the jawbone. The heads of the implants protrude from the gum tissue and provide a strong, solid foundation for securing your dentures. The best way to understand it is to think of it as snaps connecting your dentures to your gums. It is a one-step procedure that involves minimally invasive surgery, no sutures, nor the typical months of healing associated with traditional implants. |
